New session this week at IMT-BS: I had the pleasure of teaching my 18-hour course in International Business Law (in English) to students enrolled in the Business Development and Sales Engineering major, part of the Programme Grande École at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS), the business school of France’s leading group of engineering schools.
This major, formerly known as International Business Development, trains students through a work-study format for international careers in business development and complex project management, with a strong focus on technology. The programme leads to a Master’s-level degree officially recognised by the French State.
I would like to commend the students for their seriousness and commitment. Despite not having a legal background, they were able to engage with one of the most demanding areas of law — international business law — and I am confident they will make practical use of it in their future business roles.
This message goes to both the group I met this week and the one I had the pleasure of teaching in March.
