Online training – Advanced insights into international contract law: governing law, jurisdiction, arbitration, public policy.
Overview – This online training will allow you to master key issues of international contract law: governing law, jurisdiction and arbitration clauses, public policy (overriding mandatory rules). You will become familiar with two international legal regimes that can govern international contracts: the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna, 1980) (CISG) and the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (UPICC). In a very practical approach, we will analyse several examples of clauses, so that you can negotiate and draft clauses adapted to your needs immediately after the training.
